Just a small town girl...

I don't know if it's just a Kristen-ism, but I spend my time attempting to emulate those too-cool bloggers and general fashionistas (I swear I'll never use that term again). They all seem to live in NYC or Paris, and live the most flawless lives. I'd love to think Edmonton has the possibility to house these people as well but it actually totally sucks. No matter how much time I spend downtown sipping my lattes, wearing huge scarves and dreaming of all the expensive clothes in the world, it never quite matches up. For some reason.

So besides me being a terrible blogger...uhm yeah.

I have been in the weirdest of moods lately, where I'm so in the mood to shop but don't like anything around and then I get all depressed feeling because why am I not buying things ya feel?

I definitely want a new oversized blazer, some vintagey Frye combat boots, some little chelsea boots, some Rachel Comey boots...say boots again...

Also, what's with the boys? Make up your mind because I'm tired of being tired of being hopeful.

Or maybe I need to be realistic but whatever.

First Day of School Woes

So I started my sophomore year today...not feeling it one bit. I wore leather leggings and a kelly green silk button up, (very Equipment-esque but it's T Babaton) and Bloch oxfords. My classes all reek of people that don't shower on a regular basis and my lunch was spent standing around, and as comfortable as my Blochs are, I'd prefer, maybe, sitting while devouring my skimpy lunch. Not looking forward to tomorrow or the rest of the year for that matter but the sooner it's over with, the sooner I am to graduating and getting the f*ck out of this place.

Wahhh.

Ok, I need to at least try to keep up with this.

So we're back to fall fashion.  A post a season is what I seem to do. Anyhow, how exciting is it to think...lattes and huge scarves, walking around downtown...that seems to be all I'm looking forward to at the moment.

Totally bought leather pants. Totally loving them.

My Leaves candle is burning right now and I'm feeling a chai latte craving.

I hope I'll keep up with this thing. I kinda like it.

A HUGE spring trend, (HATE that term) has been any denim that's not denim. Pastels, prints, and even for the more daring fashion lovers, neons and metallics. I mean, who said denim had to be blue, right? Some major brands jumping on board, (some, making the board for the others to jump on) include J Brand, Citizens, 7FAMK, and my personal favourite, Rag and Bone.

Fak Edmonton. We just got a whole winters dose of snow. I'm talking like 3 feet. However, I'll do this post for everyone out there living anywhere else but here. As you all know, I'm pretty much the biggest shopping...fan...out there. So here's my spring shopping list: (so far.)
